Research Matchmaking Workshop, Accra, Ghana Oct-Nov 2018

PRG hosted its second Research Matchmaking Workshop from October 31st to November 2nd. Representatives from governments and organizations working on natural resource governance in Sub-Saharan Africa met in Accra, Ghana to participate in the three day workshop. Innovations for Poverty Action Ghana kicked off the workshop with a day of training on evaluation methods and randomized control trials. Over the next two days, attendees worked with the invited researchers to co-design evaluations and discussed the role of research in programming and policymaking. Among the attendees were representatives of Oxfam from Ghana, National Minerals Agency from Sierra Leone, Institute for Public Policy Research from Namibia, and BudgIT from Nigeria.
